Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting for you punctually to begin the 5 days fes desert tours. We will drive you to the Riad, located in the historical part of Fez. Depending on the time of arrival, you can take advantage of the opportunity to explore the fascinating Medina of Fez. Dinner and accommodation will be provided at the Riad.
After breakfast, we will pick you up for an exciting day. We will begin our journey to the Middle Atlas, with a stop in the surprising city of Ifrane, known as “little Switzerland” due to its unique architecture. We will pass through a vast cedar forest, home to macaques, in a scene that invites photography. Lunch will be served in Midelt. We will continue towards the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will be greeted with a welcome tea and embark on a camel caravan to enjoy a magical sunset in the heart of the dunes. The night will be spent in a nomadic camp, where music and stars will create a unique atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Today will be an exciting day of desert activities. After a nutritious breakfast, we will head by 4×4 to Erg Chebbi. We will enjoy the impressive dunes and then visit a nomadic community, sharing tea and learning about their lives and customs. In Khamlia, we will attend a Gnawa music concert and learn about their culture. Lunch will give us the opportunity to cook with the women of the town. The rest of the day will be free, with options to walk, read or enjoy a quad adventure through the dunes. Dinner and accommodation at the Riad.
This remarkable day begins with witnessing the desert sunrise, a truly unforgettable moment atop the highest dune. Following a satisfying breakfast, we bid farewell to the desert and set our course northward. En route, we’ll traverse the Tafiladet Palm Grove, soaking in the breathtaking vistas of the Ziz Valley. Our journey continues with a lunch stop in Midelt, followed by a scenic drive through the cedar forest once more. As the sun begins to set, we’ll arrive in Fez, where a delightful dinner and overnight stay in a Riad await us.
We begin our last day with a guided tour of Fez, known as the “city of a thousand doors” and the spiritual cradle of the country. You will explore its labyrinthine Medina and its charming streets that will transport you to bygone eras. You will have free time until the agreed time to accompany you to your boarding gate. Thus concludes this exciting journey for our 5 Days Fes Desert tours.
